Where do we purchase school uniforms?‬

‭School uniforms can be purchased from any vendor that sells school uniform style clothing‬ including Amazon, Children’s Place, French Toast, Lands’ End, Old Navy, Target, Walmart, and‬ Westside Christian School.

Carefully read the information on the Uniform Guideline sheet and in‬ the WCS handbook to make sure you follow the guidelines.‬

What colors of uniforms should we purchase?‬

‭Students may wear a wide range of solid colors.‬

‭

When wearing a jacket, does my child need to wear a uniform shirt?‬

‭Yes, students should wear uniform shirts under jackets.‬

‭

Is it appropriate for my child to wear a non-uniform shirt under his/her uniform polo‬ shirt?‬

‭Sure! That is fine as long as the undershirt is a solid color.‬

How do I purchase uniforms with the WCS logo?‬

‭Lands’ End is the only vendor who sells uniform shirts and outerwear with the WCS logo.‬

How do I locate WCS on the Lands’ End site?‬

‭Set up a personal shopping account on the Lands’ End website.The school number for WCS is‬ 900183229.‬

Can the WCS uniforms be altered?‬

Only alterations to adjust the fit in the waist and at the hems are allowed. Alterations to the style‬ of the uniforms are not allowed.‬

Would it be ok to roll up or cuff pant legs if they are too long?‬

No, pants should be hemmed so they are the appropriate length without rolling.‬

Are leggings appropriate for girls?‬

Girls are welcome to wear leggings under their knee-length skirts or dresses, but not as pants.‬

What are skorts?‬

‭‬‭Skorts are skirts with shorts sewn in. They are a comfortable alternative to wearing shorts under‬ a skirt.

Are students allowed to wear uniform shorts?‬

Students may wear uniform shorts.‬

Does my child need to tuck in his/her shirt?‬

Students do not need to tuck in polo shirts. However, oxford shirts should be tucked in.‬​
